10 months old

It's hard to believe that Peyton will be a year old soon. She is doing all kinds of amazing things now...She pulled herself up to stand for the first time at Susan's house...and has been practicing regularly since we got home. She loves her real food and will eat anything we put on her tray. We recently found out that she has an aversion to cats and small dogs (probably because she's not used to animals that actually move and are small). We got pictures taken and I thought I would share a couple (the tutu is one of my old ballet costumes).

visit with Great Aunt Ellie

While visiting Susan, we decided to make a trip over to see Susan and Karen's Great Aunt Eleanor. The kids had a picnic on the floor when we first got there, played with the walking lamb, played the piano and blew bubbles. We had a great time visiting.

do you think our juice cups make better music than our fingers?

birthday cupcakes

While at Susan and Gary's we got to celebrate Karen's birthday. We made and decorated cupcakes. Liam and Jaidyn loved putting sprinkles on the cupcakes.

Everyone had to test out a little icing on the spoons

PA trip

Karen, Liam and Peyton went to Pennsylvania this weekend to spend the first part of spring break with Susan and Gary. Since we were so close, Grandma and Grandpap made the trip up from WV to see us and Uncle Daniel was in town for a Penguins game! We had so much fun while in PA...here are a few highlights:
We all had fun playing with Uncle Daniel
We took all of the toys out of the boxes
We played hide and seek

it's a swing thing

Peyton, Liam and Mommy headed out today to enjoy the warm weather. We walked down to the park and played on the swings. Peyton loved it! Liam had to show her how the infant swing worked first, of course.
