shoveling snow

Liam loves his shovel that Santa got him for Christmas...he was so excited when we got a snow storm this month. He immediately got himself bundled up and ask if he could shovel a path for Bogart on the deck. Here are some pictures of our little helper:

7 months old!

Peyton loves clapping, sitting up, and playing with her toys. If she had a choice, she would be eating food instead of having bottles all the time (man does she love her food!). She "talks" all the time now (favorite thing to say is dada).

grandma and grandpap visit

Karen's parents came for a visit this weekend. We love long weekends because Karen's mom and dad can come and play! Peyton loved her time with her grandparents, Liam was ready to head to the farm to see them again within five minutes of them leaving, and Karen and Brian got some extra rest and the Christmas decorations down. :-)

Look who's 3!

Liam turned 3 years old today! Wow...3 years...it's amazing how fast they have gone by. He is such a joy to be around. He loves giving hugs and kisses to Mommy, Daddy and Peyton. Liam loves school and learning new things. He loves reading (and has at least half of the books in his room memorized so he "reads" them to us at night).

Some of his favorites:

FOOD:peanut butter cup blizzards from DQ, hamburgers with pickles, pizza, cucumbers, tomatoes, any kind of fruit, corn on the cob, and pancakes.

TOYS: Buzz and Woody action figures, playdough, trains, his tool set, legos

ACTIVITIES: riding the train at Tyson's Mall, helping with yard work, building forts, washing dishes, baking and going to the park

JMU girls + pile o' babies

We got together with Karen's girlfriends from JMU on New Year's Eve for brunch. Laura was in from LA, Phaneth came down from Baltimore, and Allie and Karen came over to Adriana's for the afternoon. It was great getting to see everyone and watch the kids "play" together. The girls are all still pretty young so they just checked each other out and kept their mom's on their toes. Liam played with them for a little bit then retreated to the basement to play football with Andy and Brian.
