to OHIO!

We went to Ohio after Christmas to visit Karen's sister and her family. We caught a flight out of BWI on Tuesday morning and were able to spend 3 days with the Woolley crew in Ohio. Liam and Hannah started playing as soon as we walked through the door and didn't stop until it was time for us to catch our flight home. Hannah informed us several times that she would be flying back with us. Aunt Julie even offered to pay for the one way ticket :-) While we were there we got to meet the newest Woolley~Lauren Grace. She's adorable and such a good baby. Julie and Jon are so lucky to have such wonderful little girls!

Merry Christmas!

Christmas morning was so much fun this year! We opened presents, had breakfast, then opened our stockings. Liam was so excited about opening all of his presents (and helping everyone else open theirs). Peyton loved the wrapping paper (we're not sure if she wanted to eat it or just liked the sound it made when she grabbed it). Here are a few pictures of our morning:

Liam LOVED his new Woody doll from Santa!

"hmmm....I wonder if Mommy will let me eat that paper?"
"Just what I wanted! A shovel! Now I can help Daddy in the snow!"
Liam is very careful not to rip the paper (Grandma has trained him well)

Christmas Eve service

Christmas Eve service with 2 kids is definitely an adventure...we hit up the family service this year (along with our other friends from the church and their kids).

Uncle Daniel is the best!

Uncle Daniel told us he was going to stop by on his "way" to WV for the holidays (how many uncles do you know that call 4 hours out of the way...on the way?) We love when he visits! Liam always has a great time with him and Peyton is starting to become smitten with her uncle as well. We were so lucky to get to spend most of Christmas Eve with him!

Peyton is 6 months old

Half a year has gone by already...At her 6 month check up Peyton weighed 18 lbs, and was 26 1/2 inches long. Peyton is loving baby food (especially rice cereal, squash, carrots, apple sauce and bananas), she likes to sit up on her own (with a little support), she's sleeping about 7 hours a night, she loves grabbing everything within reach, and LOVES peek-a-boo. Her favorite sounds to make are "dadadada", lip smacks, raspberries, and "ah oo". We love her smile, her laugh and those big blue eyes!

exersaucer!

Great Aunt Patty brought us an excersaucer for Peyton just like the one we had borrowed from a friend for Liam. Peyton absolutely loves it!

Preschool Christmas Concert

Liam's preschool performed a Christmas concert for all of the parents today. They sang Jingle Bells, This Little Light of Mine, Away in a Manger, If You're Happy and You Know it, and Oh How I love Jesus.

gingerbread men

Liam, Madison and Cameron made and decorated gingerbread men. Aunt Dana supplied the decorating goodies and we provided the gingerbread dough and cookie cutters. Liam loved the red sprinkles, Cameron loved the mini marshmallows and chocolate covered raisins, and Madison used all of the decorations to give her gingerbread men buttons, boots, belts, and faces. The finished products were delicious! Here are a few pictures of the fun!
