Cox Farms- Fall Festival

We went to Cox Farms with Justin, Lisa, Owen and Riley Cahill this past weekend. There were giant slides, hay rides, farm animals, a corn maze, a straw tunnel, a pumpkin patch, and kettle corn (We're pretty sure there was other food there as well, but that's the only food that caught our eye). Liam was a little awe struck (either about the number of things he saw or the fact that he was sitting in a wagon with Riley and she kept pulling his blanket off and eating it). Brian took him down one of the giant slides and he helped Karen pick out a pumpkin. After all of that excitement, we went back to the Cahill's for dinner and some play time in pajamas.

old school gear

Liam got some Steelers gear from his Grandma and Grandpa Folger during our last trip to WV, however, it isn't just any old outfit...it used to be Uncle Daniel's when he was little. (just goes to show you that Grandma Folger didn't keep all of those toys and clothes for nothing)

Liam- you think he's cuter than me???!!!
Bogart- seriously? I have to get my picture taken with him again?

I'll do it myself!

Liam is now feeding himself! He has been picking up and eating finger foods on his tray, but he just started feeding himself with a spoon. He loves dipping his spoon into his food and trying to get it into his mouth by himself. It's a huge step towards long drawn out meals, a bigger mess to clean up after dinner, more laundry, and independence. :-)

visit from the Hodders -2

Matt and Allyson Hodder came up from Texas to visit Matt's parents (Brett and Judy) in Fredericksburg and we were invited to join them for lunch on Saturday. Liam had a great time playing with some of the toys (especially the big beach ball).

Clemyjontri park

Liam and his cousins Cameron and Madison went to the park together this past weekend. They had a great time. They had a picnic, rode the carousel and played on the swings. Dana, Karen and Nana Linda were also there to enjoy the beautiful weather and smiles!

Liam is 9 months old!

Liam is 9 months...wow...it's hard to believe. He is doing so much now I don't know where to start. He is crawling all over the place as fast as his arms and legs will take him, has been pulling himself up (at first it was just in his crib, then it was if we had food on the coffee table...now it's all the time), he is trying to say Bogart (sounds more like o-gah!), says dada, is using quite a few signs (more, milk, where, dog, all done), loves playing with our French doors (opening and closing them), loves throwing and spiking footballs, and wants to eat whatever we are eating. He is so much fun to be around that we wish we could get paid to play with him all day.

Saying byebye to Auntie AJ

Liam's Auntie AJ is heading to Singapore for almost a whole month. Liam made sure to pose for lots of cute pictures with his Auntie and even waved byebye to her. He promised to call if he could figure out how that cell phone works. We are all going to miss her!
