First Nationals Game

On August 17th, we took Liam to his first Nationals game. He had a great time clapping, entertaining the crowd around us, and playing with water bottles. We didn't sit in our seats (our season tickets are the second row up in the outfield right next to the bull pen) it was too crowded down there. So we sat a little higher up so Liam could have his own seat.

Liam is 7 months old

This year is going by so fast. We can't believe that our little boy is already 7 months old! He has now mastered sitting up (he does it so well that he can play by himself on the floor for half an hour or more). His newest trick is moving himself from sitting to laying down on his belly (all in one graceful motion that involves lunging for something and tucking his legs underneath his bottom), he also is able to go back to sitting once he gets on his belly. He's going to be crawling in no time...(watch out Bogart!). Liam loves to clap and loves it when we sing to him. He also loves talking and shouting "hey!" to get our attention (ok, so maybe he's not really saying hey, but it sounds a lot like that). He's eating all kinds of fun foods now and loves drinking water from a sippy cup (or from mommy's cup). Sorry there aren't lots of fun pictures showing him doing all of these new things...but our camera broke while in WV, so until we get a new one we'll have to settle for these random pictures. :-)

Liam got to visit his grandparents on their farm in WV for the first time this past weekend. He had a great time playing with his cousins (first and second); petting the horses, cows, cats and dogs; trying new foods; climbing trees; and any other mischief he could get into (which included trying to drive Grandpa's tractor).
