visit from Liam's Aunties

Auntie Phaneth and Auntie AJ came for a visit (with their significant others, of course). We had brunch (Belgium waffles, fruit salad, eggs and bacon...yum!). Phaneth got in some serious toe nibbling and had Adriana checking Liam's elbows and knees for dimples. Andy and Scott decided that the Wii was more interesting than the babies and spent most of their time downstairs. We all had a great time playing together...and Liam even found out he had a little Phaneth! 

half a year

It's hard to believe that half a year has gone by already. Our little boy is 6 months old...WOW...how time flies. Liam is getting bigger everyday. At his 6 month check-up he was 27 and a half inches long (85th percentile) and 16 pounds 12 ounces (30th percentile) . Some of his favorite activities are playing peek-a-boo, sitting on his own and playing with toys, helping mommy in the kitchen, talking, inch worming across the floor, rubbing toys on his gums (we're still waiting for his first tooth), being pushed in a swing, and trying to pet Bogart.

Grandma and Grandpa's visit to VA

Grandma and Grandpa Folger came for a visit to help us out while our daycare lady took a week long vacation. Liam got some quality cuddling time and Karen and Brian got help with their biggest project (the garage). After two years of living in this house there WERE still things in boxes...thankfully Grandpa Folger made that verb past tense. :-) Grandma spent most of her time playing peek-a-boo, reading stories, playing on the floor, and generally just loving on Liam as much as possible. We hope this becomes a yearly tradition.
