Liam's baptism

Liam was baptized on May 25, 2008. All of his grandparents made it to church to see him get baptized. His Aunt Dana, Uncle Chris, Great Aunt Patty, Aunt JoJo and cousins Madison and Cameron also came to church. Liam was a little angel during church (although he did get restless right before the baptism and needed Mommy to stand up). He smiled and cooed while having the water sprinkled on his head and when our pastor walked him up and down the aisle.
After church we had a little party at Aunt Dana and Uncle Chris's house. Friends and family stopped by to see Liam, eat some of our big sandwich from the Italian Store, and spend time enjoying the beautiful day. Liam is such a busybody that he didn't want to nap very much while we were there. He did fall asleep while Grandma was holding him (and of course she wouldn't put him down once he was cuddled up on her). It was so great having everyone together to celebrate this joyful day.

Liam really enjoys looking at himself in the mirror. Most of the time he just likes to look, smile, and laugh at himself. He occasionally falls asleep during his tummy time while looking at the adorable baby in the mirror. After Liam was put down for the night Bogart decided he wanted to see what all of the fuss was about...

Happy Mother's Day!

Karen had her first Mother's Day with Liam. Brian and Liam made waffles for breakfast, gave Karen 2 cards and a necklace, let her take a long bath, and ordered out for dinner. Then we watched a movie after dinner. It was such a fun day!

Liam is 4 months old!

It's hard to believe that Liam is 4 months old...it's also hard to believe that at this time last year we had just found out that we would be parents. Liam is growing up so fast. Some of his recent accomplishments include rolling onto his side and pushing himself around in circles by kicking his feet (he still isn't rolling all the way over yet...but he's getting close). He also loves to pretend to be Superman and "fly" around above your head. Liam gets a kick out of playing with stuffed animals- mainly looking at their faces and laughing.

BBQ at the Stephenson's

We went to Nana and Pop Pop's house on Sunday. Chris, Dana, Madison and Cameron met up with us there, and Granddad joined us for dinner and dessert. It was so beautiful we were able to eat outside. Too bad Dana, Chris and Karen were behind cameras all night and missed out on getting their pictures taken too. :-)

Liam and Bogart

Liam and Bogart are getting to be good friends. They spend lots of time together on the couch. Liam does get the occasional "kiss" from Bogart, but it doesn't seem to bother him (most of the time he laughs after getting sloppy kisses).

little FIJI

Brian's fraternity (Phi Gamma Delta) is known as FIJI...one of Brian's co-workers got a shirt for Liam while he was vacationing in Australia because it reminded him of Brian. BULA FIJI! (which Karen found out means HELLO FIJI!)
